Our classes are divided into three categories: All Levels, Level Two, and Level Three. See our class and level descriptions below for more information.
Our registration system uses tags to identify your skill level. If you do not have a Level Two or Level Three tag on your client profile, you will not be able to sign up for those classes. If you have experience with Pilates group reformer and would like to discuss adding additional level tags to your client profile, please contact us here.
Pilates grip socks are required in all Pilates mat and reformer classes for safety and hygiene. We sell Pilates grip socks for $10.

All Levels reformer classes are for both beginners and experienced clients. These classes focus on the foundation of the Pilates method exercises. The pace goes from slow to moderate, offering a balanced workout. Our Pilates teachers will adjust moves to fit each person's skill level. If you are new to Pilates, have injuries, or are concerned about keeping up with the pace of a reformer class, please contact us so we can discuss your options.
Level Two reformer classes are designed for existing Coastline Pilates clients or clients who have prior Pilates group reformer experience and are free from injury or know how to modify movements if needed. These classes will emphasize proper movement mechanics as participants engage in fundamental, beginning, and intermediate Pilates exercises. A full-body workout at a moderate pace, featuring increased challenges and a more varied selection of exercises. Clients must have a thorough understanding of the Pilates reformer machine as it is essential to ensure safety and effective practice. This includes knowledge of the spring settings, which control resistance and affect exercise intensity, as well as proper adjustment of the foot bar settings, which influence alignment and range of motion.
Level Three reformer classes are designed for experienced Coastline Pilates clients or clients who have an in-depth understanding of Pilates and the reformer machine. A clear and precise knowledge of spring settings and correct use of the reformer is essential to perform exercises safely and effectively. These classes prioritize injury prevention through proper technique and modifications tailored to individual needs when necessary. As our most challenging classes, Level Three reformer will test your coordination, balance, and strength. The pace is moderate to fast, delivering a rigorous and engaging workout designed to promote continued progress while maintaining safety.
Instructors Only reformer class is an advanced level class that is taught by Ky Autumn Russell, MA, PMA- NCPT Balanced Body Educator and Pilates Education Collective Director. Clients will need teacher permission to be admitted to this class.
Apprentice Teacher All Levels reformer classes are taught by an Apprentice Teacher. Pilates All Levels Group class are for both beginners and experienced clients. These classes focus on basic exercises suited to the client. The pace goes from slow to moderate, offering a balanced workout. Our Pilates teachers will adjust moves to fit each person's skill level.
Ageless Pilates is a All Levels reformer class. These classes are designed to help you discover stability, mobility, strength, and to move with confidence and enhance flexibility in your everyday life. This class will utilize the variety of props: handheld weights, bands, balls, hard rollers and chairs. Rooted in the fundamentals of Pilates, Ageless Pilates focuses on building core strength, improving posture, and increasing flexibility—all while keeping movement gentle on the joints to reduce stress on the body. This class is perfect for those looking to stay active, prevent injuries, or support bone health, making it a fantastic option for anyone looking for a thoughtful, low-impact workout that prioritizes stability and longevity. With an emphasis on mindful movement and proper alignment, this class welcomes everyone—whether you're new to Pilates, returning to movement after time away, or simply looking for a sustainable way to stay strong and balanced. No experience needed, just a willingness to move and feel your best.
Pilates Mat All Levels classes will work to balance and improve all muscle groups’ strength, balance, posture, and flexibility. There will be an emphasis on challenging the core muscles with each movement. Classes will blend the classical Pilates method with exercise variations and by using props. Modifications will be suggested for beginners or those with physical limitations. Pilates mat is a doable method to sculpt your body and feel more coordination in everyday movements.
***************************************** Online Mat Pilates All Levels classes are a great way to keep up your practice when you can't make it into the studio. Expect to work on balance, posture strength, and flexibility. If you have props, ( Pilates balls, straps, foam rollers, elastic bands, hand held weights.) please have them handy. You will receive a zoom link via email before class.
